My first attempt at a suspended. Kingwood body with "legs" 1/8 thick. Walnut lid, sanded 600, then MM, and Beall.

Tim; That is excellent! I like the little bit of sap wood showing on the feet. It adds some contrast.

The feet seem a bit short for the suspended bit, but I am assuming that the surface isn't level and smooth.

A nice bit of turning and finishing. I think the collar of the vessel is a little bit heavy. And I agree with Randy S, it doesn't look like the vessel is standing on it's legs but it isn't clear if this is a real problem or a photgraphic problem.
