Large Statesmen Wood Box from Craft Supply

Has anyone bought these? How does the laser engraving look? The photo in the magazine looks like it's a little cheap looking. I could be wrong so let me know if you have them. Thanks for your help. Also, I'm not sure I'd want to put a high-end pen right against the wood. Has anyone solved this? Fabric, Flocking?

I am going to take a wild guess and say by Mark's reply he has not tried this box.

To my knowledge there is only one box that holds the Statesman or Emperor pens so I think he must mean:

I bought 6 of them and other than the "they look like a little coffin" comment i get on them they aren't all that bad. I've used them for my Emperors and they fit very well with room to spare.

I had not seen this! Thank you Chris for that link. I am in the process of making a Statesman for the International Vice President of The United Steel Workers and I think I can put the USW logo on the top of that box. This is a great thing! [][][][8D][]
