I have noticed the use of the word lamination in this forum. I think in many cases segmented was meant.
This is the definition:
lamination
n 1: a layered structure 2: bonding thin sheets together
segmented
adj : having the body divided into successive metameres or segments, as in earthworms or lobsters
So a segmented pen looks like a worm!
