This is a Hobby Knife in gold from Woodturningz. The wood is English walnut. The finish is Pens Plus.

I like the look of this more so than the PSI hobby knife. Not sure if you've had a chance to test these out, but I wonder if they hold the blade well and stay tight during use?

I've made both, but haven't used either.

I'm just not sold on the threads showing on the outside of the cap on the PSI version. It's not terrible, but I guess I'd have to see it in person to really judge it. I suspect there will be other versions in the future.

They're not threads on the outside, they're just decorative ridges. I thought they were threads at first, too.
