Took an easier route today. This uses a section and a clip from the CSUSA Artisan, so I don't don't know if strictly speaking it's a kitless pen. As you can see, it has no tubes or couplers--everything's threaded. Also, I added black ebonite accents to the ends.
I stuck with straight lines for this one, thinking of the styles of the 30s and 40s, and I think the clip with its black accent goes with the ebonite and the black section.
This tortoise is acrylic. It's something that PSI used to sell about 4 years ago but was discontinued. Too bad. It's beautiful stuff. CSUSA has some acrylic tortoise but I haven't tried it.
The pen is 5 3/4" long, the cap is 9/16", and the barrel is exactly 1/2".
Again, comments, questions, and suggestions are welcome and appreciated!
