Howdy all,
A customer asked if I could make her a kegerator handle and after I asked, "a what handle," she sent me some pictures of the tap and then the original handle. The handle needs to thread onto a 3/8" post so I got some threaded brass inserts from Woodcraft. Realizing that by the time I would drill a 1/2" hole into the wood to accept the insert there would be nothing left if I tried to match the base diameter of the original handle, a design change was in order. So, this is what I came up with using some claro walnut and a 1-1/4" brass ferrule. It will definitely be sturdy enough and hopefully will add a little style to the kegerator!
