This is the last piece from our Apricot tree. It died at the age of 6 having not produced a single Apricot. It's demise was probably due to a chainsaw attack???????

This little fellow is 4.5in wide and 2in tall. Sanded to 400 and polished with WOP.

C & C welcome as usual. Thanks for looking.

Bob.

Hi Bob,
Your Apricot Tree may not have achieved much in "Life", but sure did in "Death".
Spectacular Patterning and Colour, and Super Finish.
I bet you were glad you got it off the lathe in one piece.
I suggest its future life could be well spent as a Cereal Bowl, for a "Compulsive Dieter".
Congratulations,
Brian.

It would work really well for that.
The colours are beautiful.

Dennis, they waiting patiently, but I feel an urge to go and turn some more so who knows. I have plenty to choose from but I really liked those Big Leaf Maple burl blanks.

Cheers,
Bob.

Bob, you could get more than just a widdle apricot in that bowl if you plugged the hole in the side of it.:biggrin: hahahaha

I really like the figure and color in it. Did a great job.
