This is my first Jr. Gent Version 2. I like it, but I'm not sure how crazy I am about the color of the Gold Ti plating. I like the color of Berea's Gold Ti better I think. But, this is a nice kit. Afzelia burl with a CA finish. I can't remember now if I got the wood from Jim or Wayne.

I know I got this wood from JimGo, but he didn't know what it was and I don't either. It sort of looks like Bocote, but it has a reddish tint in places. If anyone has a good idea about what it is, let me know. CA finish on this also.

Nice looking pens, Gerry and I like the finish. None of my Afzelia has ever been any where near that red. When I first saw it, I would have put money on it being Amboyna burl. I like it regardless![^]

Very nice Gerry! I don't think the top one came from me; must have been Wayne! I like the shape of the lower barrel on the Cigar.

Gerryr, that wood is chechen, I'm almost %100 sure of it.
JimGo prolly' got it from me.

I don't like the grain in chechen myself, its OK, but when your surrounded by ebony its not so attractive, what did you think of it?

Great pens, good finish!
