I bought a Jooltool Ninja sharpening system when it first came out and I saw it at a show. It works really well, you can see the surface you're sharpening while you are sharpening it. So why am I not using it? Well, I already had a Tormek (yes, call me an equipment junkie...) and just preferred that, because the Tormek puts a hollow grind on tools while the Ninja makes a perfectly flat surface. Since I was giving demos at the time I needed the hollow grind so I could dress up a tool with a stone on the fly. In the home shop this is not relevant, tools can be dressed extremely quickly on the Ninja itself. The tool comes with a slew of disks and abrasives, they don't wear out quickly so you'd probably never need to buy more... Some hires photos can be seen here. Asking $125 incl. shipping in the US - you'll probably find that just the new supplies are worth more than that
