So the first one I botched - eventually got around to rectifying the mistake. I sealed this one with CA rather than leave it bare. Not sure which I prefer yet.

Looks pretty respectable from here. I get to live vicariously through you guys on these. I have no good reason to ever mess with those blanks.

Blanks are easy to turn, just normal oak! Hassle comes when you switch the top and bottom on the cigar

Looks nice! I posted a pic earlier today of a pen from a Laphroig blank. Nice oak, and they turn very nicely (and smell great when turning!)
