Hi all,

Just another version of my piston filler made from white celluloid with black accents.
Note all parts- except the nib, feed & seals- were made in my shop
The white celluloid was bought (indirectly) from "American art plastics".

Appleman (Chris) was so kind to transform the original square bars in round bar stock fro me. Thanks again Chris !

The material looks very nice and is very easy to machine with a smooth surface.

Only(small) drawback - inherent to my design- is the fact the long 0.75mm thick barrel sleeve is somewhat transparent so the piston mechanism shows through the sleeve

The cap ring was heaten up and shrunk in the cap groove

The clip was a spare I made earlier, and can logically be replaced by any other version I make.

A Titanium nib would probably fit better in this pen.

Your comments, critique & thoughts are very welcome !

Francis
PS I've also atached some pictures of an earlier made demonstrator & a "stubby (i.e. shorter) versoin of my pistonfiller

That pen is very very nice Francis. I like the shaping work and the clip is very cool. I do see what you mean about the black. Maybe if you painted the inside white it would hide the black parts and brighten up the white in the blank itself.

Thanks to all for the comments !
And Jeff, thanks for the internal painting suggestion, I'll surely evaluate its feasability .
