It's Birdhouse Time Again

I love making these things about this time of year - thanks to Mark James for getting me hooked on them. This one has a bloodwood body and sassafras for the cap & finial.

I made this one for the silent auction at our church's Oktoberfest coming up on Oct 1. I'll try to make some for Christmas gifts a little later.

Very nice. I too have them on my replenish list for this fall craft shows. I am down to about 6 left. I want to try a few new things but will keep traditional for now till I can get caught up. Will experiment in the future. Have some neat ideas for those too. Segmenting of course.
