Here are a few pens I did this week trying out some of the Italian resins I recently got.

First is a Jr. Statesman with resin called Stream Bed, painted inside of barrels gray. I like this a lot, will make nice kitless pen.

Second is a Jr. Statesman with a resin called Burgundy, painted inside of barrels bright red. Looks a lot like the ruby red color the Shaffer Pen Co. used to use made by Mazzucchelli in the 1950's The chips are just slightly larger, but nice deep red color.

Third is a Jr. Gent with resin called Scarlet, also painted inside of barrels bright red color.

Fouth is a Jr. Statesman with resin called Butterscotch Moss, this one I painted inside of barrel a mustard yellow color. I posted one earlier on a Imperial with inside of barrel painted bright yellow and I think I like that pen alittle bit more. Both are nice but paint colors can really change final look of pen.

Thanks for looking, Keith "mrburls"

I'm not at all familiar with making the Jr Statesman pens, but the first thing that caught my eye was how well the center band detail matches the grey blank on the first one. Looking at the others, I'm wondering if you painted it??

They all look fantastic!!!
