Had to re make my segmenting sled, the old one wasn't as precise as it should have been. I got pretty good results with it, but I knew I could make it better. This is the first pen using the new sled. Pen is Osage orange, maple , red vulcanized spacer material with tigerwood caps.

That is awesome Ken! The tips are perfectly aligned, the color scheme works well, the placement on the tube is well done. I cannot think of any tweaks. This is a great pen to be proud of!

I have seen a ton of these so called Gisi styled blanks made by many blank makers but I have never seen anyone actually celebrate that VEE cutting by adding a thin piece between. We all know that cut is there so why not highlight it. May have to try this at some time.
