iPad Pens

Made 3 pens today for some friends of mine at work.

Kit: CSUSA Apprentice Fancy Slimline
Wood: East India Rosewood

Wood: Paduk with East India Rosewood Stripes

Couple of firsts for me with this run. Laminating and difficult wood. This was actually the second laminate but the first try was very lopsided. The Palm was a pain to turn. I remembered someone on here saying to stabilize the wood with thin CA. That trick work great with the Palm.

Since they all have iPads, I put an iPad kit on the top end of each pen.

Very cool idea. Way to think outside the box.
