I have an idea and am not sure it will work or not. The company I work for makes a granulated sugar based drink mix. It is kind of a course mix and colorful. What I am thinking of doing is trying to cast this powder in resin.
I am thinking about mixing a small amount with a quickset epoxy and forming it around the tube. Then clear cast the tubes.
The other way was throwing a handful of the powder in the resin and pouring it like a regular blank. This may not work if the ingredients are soluble in the resin. I could use a fast setting epoxy though.
Ideas, thoughts or comments? I know it is in right field, but this would be a great @$$ [:X] opportunity for the owner of the company.[:I]
