Titanium Gold Sedona Roller Ball. Imbuia is finished with 6 coats of Minwax Clear Satin Polyurethane.

Bought 4 pieces of this Imbuia measuring 1-3/8" square by 24" long for $2.00apiece through one of the sales guys at The House of Tools in Calgary. They are selling a whole garge full of many different species of exotic hardwood through the Scouts for a lady whose husband died. He was a pool cue maker. Once all the Imbua is gone then they will have a different wood for sale.

Looks great from my end. You sure that's satin? Looks pretty darn glossy to me. You must have polished it after it cured.

I've never turned Imbuia. After seeing your pen I think I will have to add it to my list of woods to turn. That is one beautiful pen Les.

Great looking pen with another super finish! Imbuia is quite easy to turn and polishes great! At least its one of the few timbers I can get in SA.[8D][]
