I've started using my dremel to cut various designs into my wood and pr blanks. I'm sure there is a better tool to be using for this and want to know what you guys/and gals recommend. Thanks

If the dremel tool is working for you...it's the right tool. I'm trying to learn enough control to use mine. Have also thought about using a fine line woodburner like Andie Wolfe uses for pyrography on her bowls.
As these guys have, and continue to, prove there are soo many tools to use in penmaking!
Maybe not the type of answer you were looking for but didn't want to discourage you in trying new, or unorthodox, things.
