I created this thread so as to not hijack Chuck Key's post.
Chuck Key posted a very good idea for a pentel pencil that looked like it had been done with Beall Pen Wizard, but he did it using the threading capabilities of a metal lathe.
He used a metal lathe. To attach your Dremel tool to a metal lathe tool post, look at this page:

A cheap easy way to make an indexing wheel. Open your favorite Spreadsheet program. Pick the number of segments you want, and create a list of cells with the same number in each cell. Now high light the cells and do the pie chart. Size, and print the pie chart. You now have an index wheel with the exact number of segments you need.
