I Scream Ice Cream

This is my first ice cream scoop. These are great scoops. Handle is African Blackwood and the accents are White Guyana RoseWood. Finished by sanding through 600 than buffed. Sorry the picture is not better, but I am away from home and had to just take a picture since I have given the scoop to my Son-in-law. It has already been put to use.

How did it hold up without a ferrule? Any flexing in the handle at all?
