Thats some kind of plane there! Is the brass side plate actually dovetailed into the brass sole? Looks like your workbench has seen some good use too.

Those are some really expensive shavings. A $4500 plane on a $50 blank.I think Im in the wrong forum Im in the IAMP(International association of MILLIONAIRE penturners)
The Brass is dovetailed nicely to the steel that is a very nice plane there David:wink:
