I made ....ok started a bowl!

Couldn't take it anymore so I fired up the lathe and started this little bowl. Hand hurts like the devil bt I turned something......cast comes off in a week.

The wood is birch crotchwood with a bit of spalt.....the finish is just a couple drops of butchers block oil on a rag........the inside needs work yet. Honestly my hand was a bit sore by this point. But it felt wonderful to turn again!!!!
