Or what is left of her. After 80 years fishing and one real bad season where she was towed or limped in three times in one season she was retired. A friend of mine who was the guy with the pipe wrench on the rudder post for 4 hours while his Dad shouted directions down to him on its last trip in because the steering shaft broke gave me a section of Iron bark to make a pen out of. This is NOT the pen this is just a pen to see what the wood will look like and to see how difficult it will be to work with.

Neat pen but the nib end, IMHO, looks odd.
