Huon Burl WW set

All, here is a set (Fountain & Rollerball) of Pristina kits dressed in Huon Pine Burl and Grey resin from George. This was a commission job.

I have been busy turning nearly anything else than pens since I was made redundant, oh and trying to find a local to me job, after nearly 30 years of 3-4 hours travel each day.

G'day Pat,

That has been a long time since you got those blanks from me, I believe, it was one of the few times I used this grey colour on any castings, I remember I've made a few mixes with grey as the main colour but I don't remember which ones.

You've done a great work with this set, it looks apart, well done.

Hello George, yes a few years ago, they were for me, but my wife's best friend selected them . . .

I painted the tube and the blank machinery grey, so the brass would not show and to highlight colour variation in the resin.
