I asked her to open it as I wasn't expecting anything....

My old friends that we were lucky to meet on our USA trip a few years ago, Alton Folsom and Charlie Clougherty ( Greenmtnguy and NewLondon88 resp ) sent this extremely cool......or extremely hot :biggrin: thermometer with a Skiprat logo engraved in it. my wife said she thinks its slate. I'll confirm when I get home on Friday...:biggrin:
