Not difficult in any way to make. Layout a grid plan on a piece of plywood with spaces all your blanks. ie, the blank may be 7/8 wide then another 1/8 is saw kerf, so a 5 inch wide piece of plywood yields 5 blanks. so you measure 7/8, then 1/8, then 7/8 then 1/8 etc across your panel. Then you need to mark the center of each blank spot. You need to mark the length of each blank location. You need to know the width of your pen, for example a jr gent II shouldn't have an insert over 1/2" wide. so you measure back 1/4 on each side of center and mark that. Now you know where your cross or whatever else goes. Cut out your cross or whatever else and mount it into location with a drop of glue. build a wall around your plywood, then pour your resin. When done, cut the blanks out.

If you contact Eugene (ElMostro) he may be able to make a blank for you. As far as turning it, it is the same as any other acrylic only less brittle. He did a great job with that pen.

Cut a wood cross or glue two or three pieces (depending on your method) to form a cross. In this case out of bloodwood. Put it in a square mold and pour white/ivory resin in the mold. After curing, turn it - into a pen.
