This is a pen I made for a friend as part of a wedding gift. Each hot air balloon is a separate decal The kit is a Diplomat 2 from Exotics and the wood is Holly.

I've done several decal pens and have several more in the works. Some of my customers like them better than the artwork done with a laser because of the color.

These decals were printed on an inkjet printer. Set your printer at best quality and be sure to print extras.

As far as time it took to do, all I can say is it takes what it takes. Don't try to rush things. Even after spraying with the clear Kryon they are still very delicate. I think it took me about an hour to put on the decals and start the CA finish. Someday I'll have to do a tutorial. Since I retired I'm too busy.

Hot air balloons are very cool and hope to go up in one someday.
