No really, it was very hot. The funny thing was that it was cooler out last night so as I was MMing the pen (with water of course), I was suprised to see this odd looking bubble/warpage forming at the end of the barrel (Jr Gent II, upper barrel, lower end). Well, in my haste to put out this custom Eugene's Ivory with matching black onyx acrylic "oops" bands (per customer's request) I had left the blank a tad too long, it overlapped the tube by about 1/2 cm. It was all square to the tube, but not trimmed flush with the brass. Well, as heat built up, the thin wall of acrylic gave way against the bushing and major warpage. So guess what I did? I had to put an oops band where the oops band had been. Kinda ironic, don't you think!!
