My wife never knew her father as he was killed in WWII when she was 19 months old.
We did some research and found his old unit and then got his records.
This is the display case I made for her.
We knew about the Purple Heart, the Bronze Star was an awesome surprise.

A fitting tribute, nicely done. My grandfather was in the 29th as well CPL Thomas L. Scott, 29th Division, 110th Field Artillery Battalion, Battery B small world!
