Early last spring my wife got a bee in her bonnet and decided that bee keeping would be an interesting endevor here on the farm..we ordered a cypres bee hive kit that took me about 16 hrs to assemble..
She bought a bee suit, hat and smoker and ordered the bees to come in late may (there was more buzzing then normal at the small rural post office that day) The other day we took two small frames from the hive and it yielded 1/2 gallon of the best clover honey we have ever tasted, the garden has done betteer this year then ever thanks to the bees pollenation and I got a nice size stick of pure bees wax for finishing too..I turned a honey dipper out of sassafrass and made a honey pot out of some Pennsylvania cherry
