I did these as a skill building exercise. I think I will mineral oil them and give them away. All except one, it kinda flubbed. What I like though, is it is teaching me to use the tools in my arsenal, especially the dreaded skew. Wood is pine and oak.

Very nice job on these dippers!

Skill building is important and teaches muscle memory.
The skew is a wonderful tool to use once you understand bevel support
and grain direction. Learn to start skew cuts without run backs and
you are good to go!
As with all tools, super sharp is key.

Kudos for practice aka skill building.

I like to use the walnut oil I use on bowls (Mahoney or Drs Workshop) but no finish works too.

Pens Plus does well too.
