Holy CHITTAM! A rare burl! :)

Hey guys,

Here is some chittam burl, it was voidy as heck. I don't like filling the voids with sand dust and CA, I prefer going only CA as it gives more depth to the wood.

This one really kicked my ass, I had to literally pour CA all over a few times and chisel it before starting to sand and apply my finish.

Overall I am really happy, it is going in my private stash, I don't think I'll come across another piece in quite some time.

To describe the wood I would say it has the chatoyance of ironwood burl with thuya burl eyes.
