A friend brought over some Oak plywood Scraps a couple of months back.
What was odd is there are 7 plys to the wood and it was both sides good.
If you look close at the pens,there are 2 light brown layers together next to a dark layer.
The 2 light breown layers are the dress sides.
Much thicker than todays "dress" veneer.
I had made these a while ago and they went to my first retail customer.
I didn't have the heart to tell her they were plywood so I called them "special laminations"
