this is my first post in the section. i do, do other turnings.

the wood is a local pine, what kind of pine...not sure. these will be
Christmas gift for the bro's and sis's.

Very nice! Is that a kit, or did you just take apart a mug and use the guts?

I love it - been wanting to get a kit or two of those and try it myself. Is this turned endgrain or staved construction?

thanks for the comments. these are kits and it is end grained, but you can do it as a stave. here is the link where i got them.
