I have made two of the pens and have not had that problem. I actually got 5 more today because I like the way they write so well.

I have six standing by until I can get into the shop to finish them up. I had Carpel Tunnel surgery on my right hand last Friday and the boss won't let me back into the shop yet:confused:

They are really well made kits and like papaturner said, I think they are very probably the highest quality kits I've seen. They may not have the bling some of the fancy kits have, but there's something to be said about solid stainless steel parts (no pot metal or plastic) that look like they've been machined to fit into a BMW.

Thanks Constant for introducing such a well made kit!!!

I have done one with no problems. It is now my daily carry pen. The tranny was a little tight at first, now works fine. Only comment from others who have tried it seems that it is a little heavy. I just tell them it is all made in USA and has better parts!
