Hi --I'm Bob Brown from Piedmont Ohio. Been retired 3 years and have spent the last few winters wood carving. Last year I picked up a Nova lathe and began turning. Just can't quit. The last few months I've made about 40 pens. Just love being able to complete a project in hours or at most a couple of days--verses a carving that often goes on for multiple weeks.
Very pleased too have found this organization where I can find good information on pen making. Lots to learn and would like to stretch beyond standard kits.
