Hoping to find a club of some kind in my area to connect with local turners.
fortunate to have picked up a new Jet 1221VS this weekend, can't wait to get it set up!

Definitely try and get down to the Wisconsin chapter of IAP meeting in MKE on sunday if you can... You'll get a TON of good info and inspiration.

The only other closer group that I know of is http://newwg.org/ ... They meet once a month at UWGB, but are not specific to turners, but have a couple of REALLY good turners in the group.

Welcome from a neighbor south-ish from you! In New Holstein, WI here. Check out the WoodCraft store in Appleton or the Woodworkers Depot in GB for club info. I know that next Saturday (Nov 7th) the Woodcraft is having a "Turn for the Troops day".
