Hi all,

Several years back - well, probably 8 or so - I purchased several "logs" of Hawaiian woods from one of the members here - Monkey Pod, Kychee, etc. - they were 8 inches long, and they had been debarked. Really fun stuff that I used for making large tops (toys). Two pictures - one with the raw wood and the other with four completed tops.

Does anyone know or have access to this kind of wood? It was actually a trade or one of those "I have a box of wood for almost nothing" deals - and I got a lot of it. Wish I had gotten more!!!

Feel free to email me at rgarrett@iwu.edu if you know of this kind of wood source.

Best,
Roger Garrett
