This is a "stretch" Havana with the barrel made longer so it doesn't look weird

csb333,
That IS sharp. Grade A. Number 1.
The Havana is my favorite pen right now to make because they come out beautiful AND fit my hands good. But don't think I've ever made one as the instructions say. My fovorite mod is to put a tapered closed end on the pen body. I cut the kit body brass tube in half, then wrap about 1/4' of the end with tape till it fits inside a cigar pen tube. Align them on my lathe between centers and CA glue the joint. Then cut the body holes in two steps and glue the modified tube in. This lets me get a nice taper on the body, making it narrower than the fat cap.

Hmmmm ... So Rich, you are building the pen tube by gluing them togather prior to putting them in the pen?? Not a bad idea, in fact you could glue some wood to the last 1/4" and turn it to fit the larger tube too. What are you using for a chuck, a pin chuck for the 10mm cigar tube??
