Half full or Half Empty

So which is it. Is this little cup I turned half full or half empty. I turned this this morning. I didn't have any shape in mind when I started I just shaped it as I went along and I have to say it came out nice. As with my the other cup I did I'm not sure what kind of wood it may be. I sanded to 4000 mm and finished with 20 coats or so of WTF. I know there are some areas that could have used a bit more sanding I get better at that with time. All C&C are welcome.

.the first is about .25% empty! The others seem to be full of "air". All are full of nice craftsmanship!. Be well......Jan
