Greeting from a new guy

Hello, everyone. I just joined the forum and thought I'd introduce myself.

I've been turning about 1 year, mostly bowls and hollow forms, but have been doing more pens lately. I had an order for 5 Gentlemens kits and fell in love with them.

Been having trouble with out of round pens, even after I switched to turning between centers without a mandrel. My JET 1220 is still under warranty, so they're sending me new bearings--hopefully that'll fix it.

Anyway, there's some stunning work on here. I look forward to participating in the forum.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone. Looks like I won't be turning for a little while. The bearings didn't fix the problem, so I'm taking it in for service locally.

Thank God it's under warranty!

In the meantime, I look forward to seeing some great stuff and learning.
