Here is the results of a request from a customer and my first attempt at pouring poly resin. Some bubbles appeared, but I think they work with this pen just fine. This is chrome navigator with shredded pieces of wood painted green and glued to the tubes. I painted the tubes black, but unfortunately some gold still came through due to the sticks scraping of the paint. Overall, a great learning experience and a very happy customer.

Great pen! I would have guessed it was real grass (aside form the fact if would probably turn brown). Very nicely done!

Ha. I was wondering how you managed to dry the grass, and keep it so green. Very nicely done. Way to improvise.
