Got my Christmas shopping

done. Here are my first attempts at pepper mills and eggoscopes. I learned to hate East Indian Rosewood, ca finish is hard to apply to bigger objects and I have a lot to learn about turning. The other wood is figured maple with some spalting. Very hard to duplicate a piece.

Tung oil puts a nice finish on pepper mills. I put about 4-6 coats and then buff it and the finish is very nice. The depth of the wood is very nice and it feels wonderful to touch.
