Gold Jr Gent. Dress in Double Dyed Spaltted (Maple ?)

Here's my second pen since I been able to do a bit in the shop. This is a Gold Jr Gent dress in what I believe is Stabilized-doubled dyed-splatted maple. Mike (mikepenturningz) sent it to me. It was a lot of fun to turn this blank I tried to splint the blanks on the blank so that the top was all blue and the bottom all red and It can out rather nice if I do say so myself. I sanded to 12000 mm and finished with 20 coats of WTF over two days (for each blank) and then after 48 hours I polished with Hut plastic polish. I very happy with the way this one came out. That is a beautiful pen, Dan. Just love the spalting. That really highlights the grain.
