I guess if you are going to clutter a already cluttered small shop, you had just as well clutter it with free wood. A (down the road a ways) neighbor was cutting timber. I stopped and asked what he was doing with the cutoffs and he told me to come get whatever I wanted. This is one days haul. Rest is out back in the shed. Walnut and Ash!!! :) :) Got some real pretty crotch wood. I guess this helps justify the new Nova! I'm going to have a real nice Rikon for sale! :) :) Guess I better start learning Bowls!!!

Now Joe, that was the most noble, unselfish, act I have ever seen.

Your kindness in allowing your small and already busy, workshop that is showing the traditional traits of a woodturner, to so willingly receive your neighbours unwanted offcuts from his trees.

You are truly a Man among Men.
I wish I could be so kind and unselfish, just like you.

I think I'll have to come visit your shop as soon as I get back to Indy. I think you might be just a bit over loaded there. That is, unless you plan on turning wood 24-7 for the rest of your LIFE  Nice haul!!

good looking shop, I always did think a clean shop is the shop of a person who cleans, not turns. like me.

I like your shop. there is not a lot of need for empty floor space
