It was just me and 5 dogs today for Mother's Day. Wife is in New York visiting family...So, to have some fun, this is what I did...
The top one is yellowheart. This was a first pen...first time turning yellowheart(which I found to be quite easy), first time to do something other than straight cuts, and the first time to use no clip(didn't exactly fit or look right.)
The middle is lacewood cut on an angle. Done with a European kit from Woodcraft. (First time doing an angled grain)
The last is purpleheart done similiar to the first. The beads are a little more symmetrical on this one.
Everything is finished with Woodturners Finish.
