Very nice. Did you use any finish over the paint??

Scratch, I finished the same as wood..I used 6 coats of CA over the Gold paint and over the garnet dye..Ray

I think I'm going to try this too. My sister-in-law graduates from FSU in April and I was thinking of making her a nice pen. I made her a set of (6 I believe) artist pencils because she was going into fashion design.
I was thinking of trying my hand at PC, but think of a neat way to work in the garnet and gold (style wise anyway). Most of the PC pens I've seen (though I haven't looked through the forums that much) are the ones with flower patterns and leafs. I guess I could do solid colors in PC but not having experience with it, I thought it may be better to try something else. Wouldn't want to get something together and have it not look good, or worse, fall apart lol.
