Had this piece of whale bone laying around for a while and it was getting pretty beat up so before it turned to dust I figured I'd better cast it and make something with it. I cast the piece of bone and because it was quite riddled with pours I cast with 60 lbs of pressure. The tube was painted silver to brighten the blue PR. the piece was turned and massaged in the usual manner. I didn't quite get the flow from the tip to the body that I wanted but hey, they can't all be prom queens
Thanks for looking
Mark

Many get hung up on a classic profile, if its profile is too fat, some will say it was a beginner too scared to take it down....in reality each pen is different and who wants to make pens just like everyone else.....fat, thin, oblong..... Its all good.......and its an awesome Pen.
