OK, I a little uneducated when it comes to smart phones (they are smarter than me). What's the advantage to using Forum Runner on my Andriod phone to access IAP vs just accessing IAP via the web as I do from my computer.

I can't speak for the android version, but I can say that the text/wrapping and image viewing on the iphone version is much nicer than having to worry about "fitting" the web version to the screen. Its much faster for me too to scroll though the threads.

IMO.. one of the best $2 i've spent on my phone!

the deal is that you don't give up your standard access at home, you just gain the ability to look, post, be notified, etc. while you are on the road out of the house. i'm in agreement that the access on my home computer is much better and a little faster. however, i get almost complete access on my galaxy tablet when im out at on the road as well.

speaking for the android platform, pretty much the same as Dean's! Its more of a convenience factor for me when i'm away from the home computer. I actually like the fact that I can take great Macro photos of my work and instantly post to an existing thread or start a new one! Its way faster than taking the camera, setting up the photo booth, taking the pics, uploading to the computer, then having to edit them, and then upload them to IAP. That takes way more time than, oh i'd say, about 3-5 minutes with my phone from start to finish. Also the best $2 i've spent as well.

I am not trying to hijack your thread Monty but would all of this improve my using my IPad in any way? I have not even looked to see what Forum Runner is but thought that is what I would use for my Blackberry phone?

I use ForumRunner on my iPad instead of using Safari and prefer it. If you are unsure, download the free version of ForumRunner and try it out and see if you prefer it as well. If so, then you can buy the paid version. The free version will not allow you to post or reply to threads but it will give you the general feel.
