I appreciate the advice from Plantman. The thread on slimlines was interesting and eye-opening...that is why forums are a definite plus for us newbies! I din't realize the centerbands were an option. I took it off this Walnut, yard sale sign, & ebony lamination & it made a significant difference in it's appearance! Thanks!
